THE JOURNEY. DJ Scrambler is a project born in the early 2000s, from a long, non-linear path shaped by listening, curiosity, and continuous experimentation. Between 2005 and 2007, the passion for music evolved into a more conscious commitment: the first home productions began to take shape, which, despite being made with limited means, already revealed a strong focus on rhythm and structure.
The name was born almost as a joke, a nickname given by a friend, and over time it became the very identity of the project. In this embryonic phase, the research spanned rock and blues—genres that contributed to forming a deep sensitivity for dynamics, groove, and the energy of sound.
In parallel, an interest in urban culture and beats grew. The electric bass took on a central role: not just as an instrument, but as the cornerstone of composition, placing the pulse at the heart of the creative process. This evolution led to a spontaneous encounter with electronics, initially experienced as a territory of pure exploration.
THE INFLUENCE. A key transition occurred in 2010: an immersion into Brazilian funk carioca, culminating in the production of a single with a local MC. A visceral experience tied to the physical dimension of music, which deeply shaped his production method. Brazil represented the decisive turning point. Here, rhythm is experienced as a daily occurrence, connected to the body and movement; music ceases to be merely a technical construction and becomes presence, time, and space.
Contact with Brazilian percussion, funk carioca, samba, and reggae radically transformed his compositional thinking: groove became the guiding element, taking priority over genre or form. Electronics began to dialogue fluidly with organic elements, without being forced.
The electric bass remains the root of this language, intertwining with influences ranging from house to Latin music. The sonic research is constantly oriented toward warmth, rhythmic continuity, and the connection between sound and emotion. After this intense phase, a period of silence followed—necessary to let experiences settle and define a clearer artistic direction.
TODAY. The project reshapes in 2025 with a mature and essential vision. DJ Scrambler returns to production focusing on house music with a warm, organic feel, where groove precedes impact and rhythm naturally invites movement.
The new course is inaugurated by two tracks:
“Streets of Ipanema” – a house track with tropical atmospheres, designed for a fluid and sunny dancefloor.
“Sigo Aqui” – a track reflecting a deep bond with Brazil through organic and expressive rhythm.
Today, DJ Scrambler produces house with exotic sonorities, infused with rock nuances, reggae, and ethnic influences, with the bass as its beating heart. Music conceived to move the body without force, where electronics and roots coexist in an authentic balance.
